SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY
MedAcuity’s Senior Project Managers apply project management principles to deliver projects and / or programs on time, with-in budget, and with quality results, while leading and encouraging collaboration and teamwork. In this role, you must possess basic engineering and planning knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall processes to best understand and serve the needs of MedAcuity clients. Our PMs lead and coach, plan, organize, monitor, and oversee multiple projects ranging in complexity in this exciting and challenging organization, to meet defined requirements and release products that make a difference.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages multiple capital and non-capital projects.
Develop and / or oversee the development of assigned projects / programs scope of work, schedule, cost estimates, stakeholder management plan, and procurement plans.
Coordinate programs/projects activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and enforce quality control of project implementation in accordance with Best Project and Program Management practices.
Participate in contract procurement of professional service agreements / contracts, and amendments.
Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external clients to reassess and amend the scope of work requirement, budget, and timeline.
Provide input / justification for project costs and budget impact and changes.
Track and report on project progress plan, cost, and schedule, including change control.
Analyze the actual performance against the project plan and manage adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
Provide regular status updates to clients via Status Reports and Status Meetings.
Will require occasional travel to local customers in and around greater Boston north up to southern NH, based on project needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years related experience as a Program OR Project Manager.
Ability to lead and manage teams and navigate challenges while encouraging and motivating team members with minimal oversight.
Proficiency using project planning tools (Jira, Confluence, Project Planner, SharePoint, SmartSheet, etc.)
Comfort working within the Agile | Scrum methodology.
Ability to manage budget and schedule to support successful delivery to clients, including execution of SOWs and Change Orders.
Adept at problem solving and collaboration.
Provide proactive and resourceful resolution to issues.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Proven understanding of SDLC and experience with integrated solutions.
Certification in one or more of the following: Certified or Registered Scrum Master Certification, Project Management Certification, PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean, or equivalent experience.
Professional Services experience in delivering software solutions.
Experience coordinating the integration needs of embedded software and hardware development projects.
Ideal to have professional background in medical device industry with products involving SiMD (Software in a Medical Device) or SaMD (Software as a Medical Device).
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent production experience in a similar capacity.
A realistic estimate of starting base salary for this this full-time position is $130,000 to $150,000. The actual salary offered may vary based on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity and other business considerations. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance based bonus based on personal and company factors.
